Plain-English summary: Cookies are tiny text files we store in your browser so the site can remember things between page loads. We group ours into four categories — Necessary, Functional, Analytics, and Marketing — and you can switch off any non-Necessary category from the consent banner at any time.
A "cookie" is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. When you come back the browser returns the cookie to the site, so the site can remember things like the language you picked or whether you are signed in. We also use similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — and the same rules in this policy apply to them.
We use cookies to operate Move Siam, remember your preferences, understand how the Service is being used, and (where you allow it) personalise marketing. We never use cookies to collect special-category personal data, and we never sell your data to third parties.
The categories below match the four toggles in our cookie banner. Necessary cookies are always on because the Service literally cannot work without them — every other category is opt-in.
Category | What it does | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
Necessary | Required for core functionality (always enabled). | No |
Functional | Remembers preferences and enhances features. | Yes |
Analytics | Helps us understand site usage. | Yes |
Marketing | Used to personalise advertising. | Yes |
The wording above is the wording we use on the banner itself — choose Customise to see the toggles for the non-Necessary categories, then Save choices to apply.
This table is updated whenever we add or remove a cookie. If you spot a discrepancy please contact [email protected].
Cookie name | Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Keeps you signed in. | 30 days |
| Necessary | Cross-site-request-forgery protection on authenticated forms. | Session |
| Necessary | Remembers whether you are browsing in English or Thai. | 1 year |
| Necessary | Stores which team you are acting on behalf of (multi-team users). | 1 year |
| Necessary | Records your cookie-consent choices so we don't ask again on every visit. | 12 months |
| Functional | Remembers light / dark / system theme preference. | 1 year |
| Functional | Local-storage entry for recent property searches. | 90 days |
| Analytics | First-party analytics identifier + event buffer. | 12 months |
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use to run the Service. We list them here together with the third party's own privacy resources — you should read those alongside this policy.
Third party | Category | What it does | Privacy notice |
|---|---|---|---|
PostHog | Analytics | Product analytics — event capture, session replay (opt-in), funnel analysis. | |
Stripe | Necessary | Fraud-prevention signals on the checkout flow (mandatory for PCI-DSS-compliant card processing). | |
Cloudinary | Necessary | Image delivery + analytics on listing-image performance (no personal identifiers). | |
Google Maps | Functional | Map tiles + place-autocomplete suggestions (only on pages that render a map or place picker). | |
Meta (Facebook / Instagram) | Marketing | Conversion pixels for ad campaigns + Facebook / Instagram login. |
If we add a new third-party cookie we will refresh this table before that cookie is set on your device for the first time.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time. The simplest way is from the cookie banner — if you have already dismissed it, you can re-open it from the footer link "Cookies → Manage preferences" (where available) or by clearing the move-siam-consent cookie and reloading.
You can also block cookies entirely from your browser:
Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Be aware that blocking Necessary cookies will break sign-in, locale switching, and the consent record itself — you will be asked to re-consent on every page.
Move Siam does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no industry-wide standard for how to interpret them. Use the cookie banner and your browser settings to manage tracking instead.
We will update this Cookie Policy whenever the cookies we use change. Material changes (a new category, a new third-party tracker) will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days in advance.
The current version is always available at /legal/cookies.
