A practical walk-through of Move Siam's featured and boosted listing add-ons — what each does, where they surface, how to purchase, and when to use which for maximum impact on your sale.

If your listing is live but not getting the inquiry volume you expected, the two most direct levers to pull are Featured and Boost. Both increase your listing's visibility - they just do it in different ways and surface in different places.
This guide explains what each does, where they appear, and when to use which.
Featured placement moves your listing to high-visibility positions on MoveSiam - the homepage's featured section, the top of relevant category pages, and recommended-listing slots throughout the site. Featured listings carry a visible badge that signals premium intent.
Boosted placement elevates your listing in search results for matching queries. A boosted listing ranks higher than equivalent non-boosted listings, so when a buyer searches for "2-bedroom condo Sukhumvit", a boosted match appears closer to the top.
Featured is about visibility on browse surfaces (homepage, category pages); Boost is about ranking in search results. They complement each other and can be used together.
Featured listings surface on:
The Move Siam homepage - in the featured-listings section visible to every visitor
Category and city landing pages - at the top, in a curated row
Related-listing widgets - on listing detail pages, in the "you might also like" section
Inside the search results - pinned to the top of the first results page for matching searches
They also carry a visible Featured badge on the listing card and the listing detail page. The badge signals to buyers that this is a premium-intent listing - sellers who pay for placement are usually more responsive and more serious about closing.
Boost works inside Move Siam's search ranking. When buyers run a query, the search algorithm scores every matching listing on relevance, freshness, performance, and listing quality. A boost adds a positive signal to that score, so your listing ranks higher than otherwise-equivalent listings.
A boost does not guarantee top placement - listings with stronger relevance scores (better photos, more complete information, higher engagement) still outrank a weak boosted listing. Boost amplifies what is already there; it does not replace it.
If your listing has poor photos and missing information, boost the listing after you fix those problems. Otherwise you are paying to send more eyeballs to a listing that is not ready.
Use Featured when:
You are running a marketing campaign and want maximum visibility on the homepage and category pages
Your listing needs a visibility burst - e.g., it has been quiet for a few weeks and you want fresh eyes
You want the Featured badge as a trust signal for premium buyers
Use Boost when:
Your listing is high quality (great photos, complete details, competitive price) but is not appearing in the top of relevant search results
You want to outrank competing listings in your specific area or property type
You are running a paid marketing campaign that drives search traffic and want those searchers to find you
Use both when:
You are running an active marketing push and want maximum exposure on both browse surfaces and in search results
The listing is high-value and the upside of a faster sale justifies the combined cost
Open your seller dashboard
Navigate to the listing you want to promote
Click the "Promote" or "Add-ons" action
Choose between Featured and Boost (or both)
Select the duration (typically 7, 14, or 30 days)
Confirm the purchase via Stripe checkout
Add-on purchases are one-off charges, separate from your subscription. They are billed in Thai baht and confirmed by email immediately.
You can stack multiple boost or featured purchases if you want extended duration - the system extends the placement window cumulatively.
Honest expectation setting:
They will not fix a bad listing. Poor photos, missing information, or a price that is way above market - these problems eat the upside of any promotion. Fix the listing first.
They will not generate sales. They generate visibility, which generates clicks, which generates inquiries. Closing the sale is still on you and the buyer.
They will not guarantee a specific multiplier. Outcomes depend on the local market, your listing quality, and how the buyer pool moves week to week. We do not promise "3x inquiries" or "twice as fast" - we promise increased visibility, and you measure the actual lift in your dashboard.
If you want a guaranteed result, the closest thing is: list a high-quality property at a competitive price, photograph it well, write a clear description in both languages, and respond fast to every inquiry. Featured and boost amplify those fundamentals; they do not substitute for them.
Once you activate Featured or Boost, the dashboard tracks the lift:
Views - before and after the promotion starts
Impressions in search results - to see how much more often you are surfacing
Inquiries - the bottom-line metric
Saved counts and reactions - soft signals that indicate buyer interest
Give the promotion a few days to settle in before judging the result. Buyers who see a featured listing may not inquire on day one - they often save it, watch the price, and reach out later. The full impact shows up across the duration of the placement.
If you do not see meaningful lift after the first week, look at the fundamentals again - photo quality, price, description completeness. Promotion makes good listings work harder; it does not turn weak listings into strong ones.
The Plus plan includes one featured placement per month at no extra cost. The Pro plan includes unlimited featured placements. If your plan does not include featured placements (or you have already used your monthly allotment), the add-on purchase flow handles the upgrade.
Boost is always a paid add-on, regardless of plan. There is no plan that includes free boosts.
For full plan details, read the seller pricing plans explainer.
You choose at purchase - typical durations are 7, 14, or 30 days. Featured placements that came with your Plus plan run for one month. You can stack purchases to extend.
No. The listing must be live and active. Reactivate first, then promote.
The homepage featured section shows a curated rotation of featured listings. If multiple listings are featured simultaneously, they all surface but the order rotates. There is no auction-style bidding.
Yes. Both add-ons apply to sale and rental listings.
Not directly - MoveSiam's promotion levers affect placement inside our site. Strong listing fundamentals (complete information, fresh photos, competitive price, both-language descriptions) help your detail page rank on Google over time, and the bilingual marketplace guide covers the SEO side.
Add-on purchases are non-refundable once activated, but you control when to start them. If you have not activated yet, contact support.
The homepage features section is a curated rotation of currently-featured listings. The carousel is the broader rotating gallery that includes featured plus algorithmically-selected high-performing listings. Buying Featured gets you into the rotation; you cannot purchase a specific carousel slot.
